Credit Data and Sensitive Personal Information
If you are enrolled in Econocredit's credit monitoring services, we collect and process the following categories of personal information that may be considered sensitive under California law (CPRA / CCPA 2.0) and other applicable state privacy laws:
- Credit report data (accounts, payment history, public records, inquiries) sourced from consumer reporting agencies through our credit data provider
- Credit scores (educational credit scores derived from bureau data)
- Credit monitoring alerts (changes to your credit profile)
- Identity verification data (such as date of birth, last four digits of Social Security number) used to verify your identity in connection with credit services
You have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, and limitations on our use of this sensitive personal information. Note that Econocredit does not originate credit data - disputes about the accuracy of your credit report must be directed to the relevant consumer reporting agency.
